The Printing Industry of the Carolinas joins SGP as Resource Partner

The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), the leading certification authority in sustainable printing, announced today that the Printing Industry of the Carolinas joined the SGP community as a Resource Partner.

GP Resource Partners are non-profits, NGO's or educational institutions engaged in promoting, teaching or researching in the areas of graphic arts and/or sustainability. Resource Partners are subject matter experts that assure our entire community is empowered with the acumen to advance sustainability in the printing industry supply chain.

“PICA and SGP share a commitment to a more sustainable future,” said Jeff Stoudt, president, PICA. “As a Resource Partner, we align our resources in achieving a more sustainable supply chain."

“PICA has a strong commitment to sustainability and by providing a direct connection with SGP, PICA members can accelerate their sustainability journey,” commented Doreen Monteleone, SGP treasurer and Flexographic Technical Association representative. “PICA and other associations serving as resource partners provide a unified voice for printers to shape the direction of sustainability for the printing industry.”

PICA will be holding the webinar Sustainability What You Need To Know, on April 20, 2021. Terri Brown of Acucote will discuss environmentally friendly terms and the use in sustainable products.
