Panel Sessions and Roundtables Explore Technology, Application Trends and Storage Needs August 12

With the global wearables market growing at a compound annual rate of 35 percent over the next five years, Flash Memory Summit 2015 will be holding a full day of sessions and activities focusing on the personal and professional application of the technology and the critical requirement for fast, accurate, reliable and private storage August 12 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

The open sessions will explore implementation in smartwatches, necklaces, eyewear, rings, headgear, clothing and other devices for personal fitness, healthcare and increasingly, day-to-day business usage.

While smartwatches and fitness bands for health and exercise account for 59 percent of total wearable device sales today, a growing array of products are emerging that target niche applications for individuals and firms.
