New high-speed cutting and stacking system for web-fed color inkjet printers

Tecnau presents in Europe the new Revolution 50 series for web-fed color inkjet printers, a family of products featuring top speeds, Internet-of-Things (IoT) compatibility, and media flexibility as required in today’s most demanding digital print environments. One member of the Revolution 50 family, the Stack 5151 system for cutting and stacking continuous inkjet-printed output, will be shown during the Canon Future Promotion Forum & Production Printing Business Days 2019 at the Canon Customer Experience Center in Poing, Germany from September 24th to September 26th, 2019.
Tecnau’s Stack 5151 reliably operates as fast as 590 fpm/180 mpm, providing investment protection for future press speed upgrades. The taut web Stack 5151 never lets go of the web, maintaining full control of the cut while minimizing touchpoints to protect high-value printed applications. Featuring the single-cutting Cutter c51, Tecnau’s Stack 5151 accommodates the broad range of papers and heavy ink coverages characteristic of the demanding graphic arts applications migrating to inkjet print while the long-life new blade technology guarantees up to 100 million cuts of uninterrupted production. The Stacker s51 offers several output stacking alternatives and a transport technology which matches well to a broad range of applications, from transactional to high-quality publishing & graphic arts. The stacker also features north/south job offsetting to ensures high-speed operation even for consecutive small set/book-block jobs.
The complete Revolution 50 series is robustly constructed to withstand heavy-duty cycles for continuous non-stop production and lower maintenance costs. The system has been designed to be easily accessible for onsite service maintenance as well as for remote technical assistance, online monitoring and diagnostics.
