The Vitrolux H glass engraving could be seen at the Signtrade booth at SGI. It is a complete engraving system including 3D-scanner and engraver.
VitroScan 3D scanners takes the picture of customers in three dimensions. Afterwards, the Vitrolux Laser produces the image directly before the eyes of the customer.
The 3D scanner provides high resolution scan data files. Those are then fed to the Vitrolux H engraver and the image is engraved into the glass.
Without any doubt, the 3D scans are the most fascinating product of sub-surface engraving. Applications are manifold, then simple face to full body reproductions. But not only those as shop doors, window walls as well as other glass engraving tasks can be executed.
