The innovative Rollover flatbed applicator that can be seen at the Saga DG booth will find a new home at Printworks Mediatech in DIP, Dubai, after the show. It is the first of its kind in the region.
The Rollover enables applications of all kinds such as rigid panels, glass and acrylic substrates, tape wind ups and lamination and can also be used for assembling oversized media or as a work station. In short: It is designed to meet the various requirements signmakers encounter in their daily work. The machine does not have a high bridge thus enabling the operator to have free access to the antistatic rubber-coated roller which is especially handy when laminating substrates. As it applies an even pressure over the tabletop lamination jobs can be executed without creases or bubbles. An illuminated glass tabletop and special cutting mat improves accuracy and gives
the operator more control in operation. The ergonomic work positioning of the table and easy operation mean that the machine can be handled by only one operator. When applying digital prints or application tapes to glass or acrylic plates, no water is required. In addition, rigid
panels such as correx, foames, dibond, aluminum up to 90 mm thickness can be processed for perfectly flat applications. Extra media holders enable utilizing the full width of the tabletop which is especially important when winding up application tapes.
