Today SGI will put an end to three days of electrifying exhibition activities. For many exhibitors this year's SGI has been an exciting tour de force. Thousands already visited the show.

DigiMatrix's booth in SGI will be a hub or let say a microcosm of solutions for the signage industry. From large format printers and CNC router to laser cutting machine and DigiRob, company's larger than life booth has something for everyone. It is an exhibition in itself.
Canon Middle East has a 192 square meter stand in SGI which is bigger than last year. The reason for a bigger stand is obvious. Following the full integration between Océ and Canon on September now Canon Middle East has a wide range of products and solution to display in one stand and under Canon brand. The company will put on display a string of products and solutions including the all newPlotwave 360, Arizona 460 flatbed press and full range of LFP products.
HP's star technology during SGI is an all new HP Latex 3000 wide format printer. This printer which was launched during Fespa is gaining in popularity. Already there are 8 units ordered in the Middle East with some already installed.
Sharif Rahman, CEO of International Expo Consults, organizer of SGI says now that Dubai won the World Expo 2020 bid whole world looking at this thriving city as a source of inspiration and high growth. He says:" Over 168 nations had to vote and we won the bid and it is a great feat not only for Dubai but across the region. This is the first time in 152 years history of the event that the show has come to the Middle East. This will surely have an impact on the economy and also SGI Dubai 2014 for sure. We are one of the proud Expo 2020 bid supporters. So people who have already booked the space at our show are lucky and would reap the benefits. "

Wandering around the aisles at SGI and looking at all the offerings one has to wonder what is next for the advertising and communications industry.
