Graphtec GB to cut it fine at Sign & Digital UK

Leading provider of high-performance cutting solutions, Graphtec GB (Stand A36) will be demonstrating selective machines from its extensive portfolio. These include examples from the CE and FC series of cutting/plotters and the F-Mark automatic digital die-cutting system.

All of the cutters incorporate Graphtec’s proprietary ARMS (Automatic Registration Mark Sensing) system for optimum material alignment and cutting accuracy and Graphtec’s own-brand Pro Studio and optional Cutting Master 4 software that enables Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW integration. Graphtec Pro Studio is based on the popular FlexiSIGN family of design and production software, developed by global software specialist SAi for which Graphtec GB is a preferred business partner and distributor in the UK and Ireland.
The CE6000 series of vinyl cutters includes the latest Lite-50 and Plus machines. Both are described as ideal low-cost entry-level solutions, with the former bridging the void between the traditional craft and commercial sectors and the latter providing new machine enhancements to better accommodate higher volume production.
The FCX2000 flatbed cutter features a specially configured cutting head that incorporates two tool holders. Both can be used for cutting, while the second enables combined cutting and creasing and/or drafting with a pen.
The FC8600 vinyl cutter is rated ‘Best in Class’ for cutting speed (1,485mm/sec) and cutting force (600gf), complemented by a higher than normal performance-to-cost ratio. The machine is available in a choice of five models to accommodate different production requirements.
The F-Mark combined automatic sheet-feeding and digital die-cutting system is based on the popular CE6000-40 cutter incorporating dedicated F-Mark software. It will accommodate multiple print-and-cut applications, including short-run label production, digital prints and packaging applications. A distinctive feature of the F-Mark is that it can handle up to 120 sheets of material in a continuous cycle whilst allowing the loading of additional sheets without interrupting the cutting process. Furthermore, the die-cutting process is carried out automatically to remove the need for users to purchase expensive cutting dies.
