Leading textile solutions provider SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD. of Wakayama, Japan will exhibit at the China International Sewing Machinery and Accessories Show (CISMA 2019) in Shanghai this month. On display at the SHIMA SEIKI booth (Hall E2, Stand F12) will be “Shima Cutting Solutions,” a fully integrated cutting system that offers smooth workflow from design and programming to fabric spreading, labeling, cutting and pickup of cut parts. At CISMA 2019 Shima Cutting Solutions will be demonstrated through a comprehensive display of the company’s CAD/CAM lineup consisting of the SDSONE APEX4 design system, PSPR2K fabric spreading machine with labeling option, PCAM161 multiply computer ized cutting machine, and pickup table with pickup projector.
SDSONE APEX4 is a brand new design system shown for the first time in China. Fabric simulation capability in circular knitting, flat knitting, weaving, pile weaving and printing reduces sampling time, cost and material. New PGM software features improved interface and up to a 40 per cent increase in productivity compared to the previous APEX3 system. Highly efficient Automarking Premium nesting software is available as well.
PSPR2K computerized spreading machine provides smooth spreading and stacking of knits and other fabrics with stretch characteristics. The labeling option is available for affixing labels to each part for smooth pickup.
PCAM161 offers highquality, efficiency and productivity with good costperformance. It is designed to handle precision cutting of a variety of fabrics and materials for flexible highvolume production. The pickup table features a pickup pro jector that projects images of cut parts onto the fabric to increase efficiency and prevent human error in pickup and sorting.
Also shown at the JUKI booth (Hall W3, Stand D02) will be the prototype PCAM160 singleply computerized cutting machine that will be demonstrating automatic pickup and workflow to sewing machine as an example of the “Connected Industries” Industry 4.0 proposal by the Japanese government.
