SCREEN today announces that Syseam, a Spanish label specialist, has invested in a SCREEN Truepress Jet L350UV+LM. This is the first of this model to be installed in Spain. The investment will enable Syseam to meet increased label safety demands as well as reducing product lead times.The press represents the company’s first investment in SCREEN technology. According to Santiago Nebra, General Manager, Syseam, since installing its SCREEN Truepress Jet L350UV+LM, the company has been able to improve its productivity whilst adapting to strenuous market demands in terms of quality and safety certifications when using low migration inks.

With the ability to increase our throughput, we can now meet current and future customer needs in terms of quality, production time and regulations such us, EuPIA Swiss Ordinance or Nestle Guidance, with much less pressure,” explains Jaume Rafols, Production Director, Syseam.

In addition, the low migration inks do not generate any type of odour on the label that can potentially affect the accompanying product. This is especially relevant in markets including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and food. As a result, we can offer very high-quality products that comply with the most current food and pharmaceutical safety regulations,” he adds.
The new SCREEN Truepress Jet L350UV+LM delivers reliable print speeds of up to 60 meters per minute whilst proprietary SCREEN inkjet printhead technology ensures outstanding quality even at the highest speeds. The addition of a chill roller to the press expands the versatility and flexibility of material types that can be supported, including thin and heat sensitive film, which significantly increases the range of packaging and label applications that can be printed.
