Since yesterday, the crisis committee of the German government has been recommending that Germany reduce travel and do everything possible to reduce the risk of infection with the coronavirus. In addition, we have also learned that the first corona infection has now also occurred in the district of Constance.
These current developments have led us to a new basis for evaluation.
Therefore, we feel obliged to reduce the health risk for the benefit of all and as a consequence we unfortunately have to cancel the ProFlex DACH 2020 on 31.3.2020 - 1.04.2020 as well as the DFTA general meeting on 30.3.2020.
Since ProFlex is an industry highlight of the DFTA, we are now planning to hold ProFlex at the autumn conference
on 13.10-15.10.2020 in Dortmund. Also the great popularity of the concept of the special edition ProFlex DACH in cooperation with flexo suisse encourages us to make up for this special edition in spring 2021 in Konstanz.
At the DFTA general meeting, we are currently examining the possibility of an online-based meeting and therefore ask all DFTA members today to block the date for the 30.03.2020 from 4 p.m., which is already entered in the calendar, for an online procedure. Further details will be announced shortly.
