What is PIXELOCTM? - PIXELOCTM is the trademark for Troika Systems AniCAM
HDTM positional closed loop feedback system. For all measurement systems
it is important to know that when a measurement is completed the data is
based on a movement from a known data point. Due to the inherent
resolution of the AniCAM, this has never been a problem, but we saw that
enhancing this aspect of the AniCAM would allow Troika to match more
closely the AniCAM-to-AniCAM measurements, “interoperability” and
challenging cell geometries. Traditionally we have used a stepping motor capable of driving the mechanics of the V7 AniCAMs in 1um steps. The AniCAM HDTM with PIXELOCTM uses a closed loop feedback system that measures in 0.25um steps, therefore ensuring that when we perform the measurements we are able to capture every detail, having this patented technology, means that each AniCAM HDTM is identical and can be relied upon to give consistent results year after year PIXELOCTM is only available on the New AniCAM HDTM.
