Italian manufacturer Sermar Machines Srl (stand A24, hall 8) is showcasing the new sheeter range models Smart Cut and Easy 2 Cut with electronic guillotine change size system.
These are equipped with long life blades that permits a high cut accuracy through a new generation of brushless motors. It can work with single cut or double cut and it is provided by a rotary slitting knives unit able to produce 2-up jobs. The cut register, according to sheet size, is always electronically controlled through a label gap/print mark sensor reader.
It is also possible to set theoretical cut function, eliminating gears from size changes. The exit type can be with a fixed table or a belt delivery with job separator.
Also presented on the company stand will be the tension free unwinder on-line with spiral fan folder model SP-508-E, with a production speed up to 115 m/min. This is able to fan fold labels, tickets and lottery tickets.
