Epson is expanding its extensive range of large-format printers for the production of technical drawings with three additional, particularly productive models. The new printing systems follow the very successful SureColor SC-T3400(N) and SC-T5400. The SC-T3405 and SC-T5405 can be equipped with 700 ml cartridges, so that medium and large architecture and engineering offices can handle large jobs without having to change cartridges. With the new size, users of these devices have a total of three different ink volumes available, so that the optimum cartridge configuration is available for every application.
The 4-colour pigment ink UltraChrome XD2 enables water and smudge resistant prints with excellent colour quality and sharp lines. This noticeably improves the productivity of the devices. The SureColor SC-T3405 with stand and the SC-T3405N as a desktop unit print up to 24 inches (61 cm, A1+) wide, while the SureColor SC-T5405, available with only one stand, processes up to 36 inches (91.4 cm, A0+) wide media. The SureColor SC-T3405, SC-T3405N and SC-T5405 will be available from May 2020 from all qualified retailers.
Architects, engineers and print service providers alike will find a range of large format printers ideal for producing high quality CAD designs, architectural or technical drafts, large format office documents, posters for event organisers and PoS advertising signs for retailers.

The new devices are also very well suited for the production of high-quality posters, for example in schools. But they can also be used to print advertising signs for the retail trade and colourful event posters quickly and cost-effectively.
Thanks to the PrecisionCore print head technology, the elegant devices offer first-class printing performance. The new SureColor also enables wireless printing from tablets and smartphones. In addition, they offer the option of printing an enlarged copy of a document scanned with the appropriate Epson WorkForce Pro or WorkForce Enterprise. The printers also ensure lower total cost of ownership (TCO), not least because of the large cartridges holding up to 700 ml, and fit seamlessly into existing work environments. The entire print path is protected from dust and other harmful atmospheric influences. The design of the housing also largely prevents nozzle misfiring due to the influence of dust.
