Sharp and TeamViewer: New partnership for remote customer support

Sharp Europe announces its partnership with TeamViewer, a leading global provider of secure remote access and remote maintenance solutions. The partnership gives Sharp's software partners the ability to connect to selected displays from anywhere using TeamViewer. Sharp is thus meeting the increased demand from customers for visual solutions with remote management.

Uncomplicated remote maintenance of displays
The remote technology enables complete remote maintenance of the Android operating system from screens, such as (de-)installation of applications, display of the device configuration, file exchange with the screen and other remote functions that can be accessed at any time and from any connected device.
TeamViewer solutions are available on all Sharp displays with Android operating system and System-on-a-Chip (SoC) processor. These include the PN-HB and PN-HM displays, the PN-B/M models and the recently launched Sharp BIG PAD series PN-TH1. 13 Sharp displays support TeamViewer technology to date.
