Innovations in Optics, Inc. (IOI) Hires New Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer, Full Stack Software Engineer, and Chief Marketing Officer

Innovations in Optics, Inc. (IOI) is pleased to announce the addition of three key staff members to help guide the company’s continued growth: Trevor Altman, Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer; Saahil Sood, Full Stack Software Engineer; and John Moran, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Trevor Altman, a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Rhode Island, brings over 15 years of experience, including five years as a Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager at a leading laser source manufacturer. He has a strong background in complex opto-mechanical system design, manufacturability optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Saahil Sood, who earned his B.S. at Boston University and M.S. in Computer Science at Columbia University, brings extensive cloud software engineering experience and proficiency across a wide range of languages, frameworks, and platforms. He will contribute to the software development for a new generation of products at IOI.
John Moran is a CMO who brings over 25 years of experience in strategic marketing to companies in the photonics, biotech, financial and technology spaces. He is the founder of a Boston-based digital marketing agency and has a proven track record of driving brand growth, market expansion, and lead generation in highly technical industries. John holds a B.S. in Optics from the University of Rochester and an MBA from Boston University.
