The Crown Letsgo 3rd generation grades will bring visible quality improvements in the print result of presses operating with pigment inks and provide the opportunity to improve the Total Cost of Print by reducing ink consumption (5-12%) and save on drying energy*.

Dow and Plastigaur announce the successful commercialization of collation shrink films using recycled plastic

Dow (NYSE: DOW) has today announced the first large-scale commercial use of its innovative resin AGILITYTM CE, made with 70% recycled plastic. Plastigaur, a leading film converter based in Spain, is using the AGILITYTM CE resin in its collation shrink film, typically used in the transportation of cans or PET bottles. The partnership marks an important step in Dow’s ambition to advance a circular economy for plastics.

Valmet will supply a new OptiConcept M container board making line with extensive packages of automation and services to Shanying Paper, Guangdong at its Zhaoqing mill in China. The new board making line (PM 53) will produce test liner grades and continue the expanding of Shanying Paper’s business in Guangdong area. The start-up of PM 53 is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022.

Valmet to supply an extensive tissue machine rebuild to Metsä Tissue’s Mänttä mill in Finland

Metsä Tissue has selected Valmet as the supplier of an extensive rebuild of their tissue machine PM 10, including control system, at the Mänttä mill in Finland. The investment is part of their Future Mill program with the target to improve the mill’s energy and production efficiency and increase its production capacity. It will also allow for improving product quality, according to consumer customers’ expectations.
