- Leading Axilone to excellence
- 2014 is a turning year for Axilone, the metalloplastic division* of the Ileos Group.
The investments engaged in 2013 that will see the light this year prove it: in the French plastic plant, where the new varnish and metallization line and the automatic assembly workshop must be operational in the first quarter; in Spain, where a new metal stamping factory is under construction. Besides the pursuit of the group external growth to strengthen its global presence and extend its offer through the search for complementarities.
Challenges that Laurent Chevallier, new Managing Director of Axilone since January, is taking up to accelerate the writing of the story of a group "entered the major league."
Its objectives: to consolidate the 2013 investments, the know-how and thus to offer its customers a global integrated solution.
To achieve this, Laurent Chevallier can rely on the industrial vision and financial means of the Ileos Group shareholder, Oaktree.
Laurent Chevallier already knows these issues and this industry with 12 years of experience in the packaging sector, first at Sidel (TETRA LAVAL Group) as General Manager of the Labeling Division and then at SGD, where he was the CEO of VG Emballage and a member of the SGD Executive Committee.
Aged 43, graduated from ESCP, Laurent Chevallier is married and has 2 children.
