Liqui-Box Corporation, a global leader in flexible packaging solutions for liquid and semi-liquid products, has announced two strategic additions within their executive team to support the Company's global growth strategies. Greg Gard will serve as the Senior Vice President of Research and Development and Anthony Rizzo will serve as the Senior Vice President of Sales.
Greg brings over 25 years of experience in the packaging industry. Greg formerly served in research and development and operational excellence leadership roles with Cryovac, CT Film, Huntsman Packaging, Pliant Corporation, and most recently as the Vice President of Product Development within the Flexible Packaging Division of Berry Plastics. In addition, Greg has served as a member of the Clemson University Packaging Science Industrial Advisory Board for over 10 years. Greg graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Anthony has over 15 years of leadership experience in key sales and marketing positions with Alcan Packaging, Hilex Poly, National Envelope, and most recently as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Constar International. Anthony's innate ability to produce results in top-line growth, value creation and market share through effective strategy deployment, team development and process management will be invaluable as Liqui-Box continues to realize accelerated growth in global markets. Anthony graduated from State University of New York with a degree in Accounting and holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
