Increasingly fast-growing markets
Turkey is the third largest pasta producer country in the world after the United States and Italy, the eighth in terms of per capita consumption. For Altopack, which boasts a global leadership position in the engineering and marketing of pasta packaging solutions, this country has always been a key market, covering 15% of the entire company's export. Altopack has been involved in supporting Turkey after the terrible earthquake that occurred last February. The Middle East is a very important area for the Italian company, as well. This area, which includes key countries like Iran, Israel and Jordan, represents 15% of Altopack's total export share, and almost 8% of its turnover.
