PODi Announces New AppForum Dates in May

AppForum 2015: May 11-13 at Harrah's in Las Vegas

AppForum 2015 has moved to Harrah's Las Vegas from May 11th to May 13th and blends the best attributes of prior AppForums with a new industry-oriented approach.

The result is a truly unique industry event for print services providers who want to transition to marketing services and for marketing services providers who want to enter or grow their business in key vertical markets. The conference agenda now includes vertical market tracks designed to help small to mid-sized print and marketing services providers be successful selling to four, key markets

Higher Education
Not-for-Profit
Hospitality
Retail
"An advisory council of PODi members identified content needed by the industry and the result is a conference highly tuned to the needs of commercial printers which provide direct marketing services," says Greg Cholmondeley, PODi Workflow Analyst. Each vertical track consists of four sessions on Market Strategy, Sales Strategy, Application Development, and Application Implementation:

Led by actual printers who have succeeded in selling to these industries
Delivered in terms of real-life lessons rather than theoretical hypotheses
Including "voice-of-the-customer" accounts of actual clients in these industries
With actionable checklists for entering or growing business in these markets
"This is an innovative approach which I haven't seen in any other conference," continues Cholmondeley. "It provides real-life knowledge delivered in a structured format by the people in the trenches who know what really works, including success checklists that attendees can use as soon as they return home."

The current agenda is online and, in addition to the new vertical market tracks, it contains:

Monday extended workshops on solution selling, cross-media solutions, and workflow automation
Keynote sessions by author Andrew Davis and Franchise Services president and CEO Richard Lowe
A broad collection of sessions on topics covering marketing services best practices in sales, workflow automation, and solution implementation.
