Trevor Crawford, Event Director, Ipex 2014, comments: "With only 100 days to go, the countdown to Ipex has truly begun and we're looking forward to welcoming the print industry to our new home at the London ExCeL. Ipex will be the largest international print focussed event in 2014, and we have listened carefully to our stakeholders to realign and deliver an exhibition that is relevant and beneficial to their specific needs. The recent reengagement of some key exhibitors and the positive response from the industry as a whole - as demonstrated at the Ipex Open Day last month - reflects the returning optimism in the print industry and the supportive role Ipex plays within it."

Taking place at the London ExCeL in one of the business capitals of the world, visitors will be able to see and hear about the latest solutions required to respond positively to the changing marketplace and ensure a long term, profitable future. Spread across 40,000sqm encompassing 10 open and adjoining hall entrances, global suppliers from the entire print production workflow will be showcasing cutting-edge technologies from across the print supply chain.

Developed in response to global research commissioned by Ipex on the key trends impacting the industry and the markets that serve it, Ipex will also serve as a thought leader with a comprehensive content programme designed to educate and inspire. Ipex will also host a raft of insightful and inspirational features that will provide plenty of food for thought for printers looking to grow their businesses.

The World Print Summit, a senior-level thought leadership programme, will deliver a world-class line-up of speakers from the print, business, marketing and creative industries, while the Master Classes will focus on business growth and production efficiency for SME printers. In addition, the Future Innovations areas will showcase the printed products and technologies that are set for rapid expansion over the next few years, including 3D printing, printed electronics, digital printing on packaging and photo print & emotional products.

Meanwhile the Eco Zone - sponsored by Komori - will educate visitors on the ecologies and business-related advantages of reducing their environmental impact, and the inaugural Cross Media Production event, which is co-located with Ipex, will focus on 'how' to implement cross media communication strategies across multiple platforms. Finally, the Make Ready Challenge will pit offset printer operators against each other against the clock to be crowned the Ipex 2014 Make Ready Champions.

Trevor Crawford, Event Director, Ipex 2014, adds: "To date, we have visitors coming from over 120 countries, reinforcing Ipex's attraction as an international event. As testified by many of our exhibitors, Ipex is an influential platform to network, meet new customers face-to-face and to do business. For printers, the event will satisfy their growing thirst for knowledge and innovations that will enable them to meet their challenges head on, identifying solutions that will enable them to adapt their business to be a success.

"As 2013 comes to a close, we believe 2014 will herald a renaissance era for print where by it proves its value in the fast-evolving marketing mix. With Cross Media Production demonstrating how print works alongside all the other communication channels out there, I'm confident that this new dawn will be evident at Ipex in March. Its all very exciting and we can't wait."
