Growing OEM business gets even more attention
callas software, the market leader in automated PDF quality control and archival solutions, today announces the appointment of Jeremy Spencer as OEM Director. callas software has a strong history of providing technology to OEM customers, boasting over 70 active OEM customers globally across various markets. In his new role, Jeremy will focus on supporting existing OEM customers and on developing new OEM partnerships.
callas aims for technology leadership by making highly flexible, performant, and stable products, both in the prepress and archival market,” says Dietrich von Seggern, CEO at callas software: “That works great for end-user products, but is also an ideal match for OEM partners. They know the business problems they want to resolve and need core technology that gives them a quick and reliable path to the market. We make technology from the pdfToolbox, pdfChip, and pdfaPilot product lines available to them as easily integrable components.”
A wealth of experience
Jeremy’s early passion for art, design, and technology has driven his career in print since 1992. He has been part of the digital evolution in pre-press and digital printing since being in an end-user environment at Grosvenor Printers Ltd. (Northampton, England), and technology remains a fundamental area of interest and focus.
Jeremy has been responsible for substantial revenue growth for leading technology companies worldwide, including X-Rite, Xaar, Caldera, Global Graphics, and Fiery. He demonstrates a strong enthusiasm for delivering state-of-the-art technology in new print applications and cultures. This experience will empower him to guide callas as it expands its industry-leading PDF technology offerings.
Joining an international team
Based in the Midlands, UK, Jeremy joins an international team that guides callas product development and makes the technology available to OEM partners worldwide. “The OEM customers for whom the callas technology is an ideal fit, certainly overlaps with my expertise: areas such as industrial inkjet, ultra-high data rate environments, downstream data path technologies… there is a real need for robust and fast PDF technology there!” comments Jeremy.
