Samsung Canada Welcomes Canada's Largest Outdoor LED Billboard to Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square

2014 NXNE Festival to feature interactive launch at 'Times Square North'

Samsung Canada, a global leader in consumer electronics, is pleased to celebrate the launch today of Canada's largest outdoor LED billboard at Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square. Individuals travelling through 'Times Square North' will now enjoy content on a 97" ft. wide by 60" ft. tall screen, equivalent to one third the size of a soccer field.

The billboard will be officially launched to the public during Samsung's interactive NXNE Festival experience, and will reside above the northwest corner of the Yonge and Dundas Street intersection.

"We're excited to be able to provide visitors to Yonge-Dundas Square with a larger-than-life viewing experience," said HT Kim, President & CEO, Samsung Canada. "Whether on our Curved UHD TVs in Canadian homes, or in one of the busiest public spaces in the country, Samsung is committed to bringing beautiful, immersive entertainment to Canadians."

The new outdoor LED Billboard will serve a variety of purposes following Samsung's interactive NXNE Festival experience such as showcasing Samsung Canada's newest product launches, promotions and partner programs, community updates and helping to bring consumer experiences to life. As Samsung's latest massive interactive billboard, Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square joins other locations including London's Piccadilly Circus and New York's Times Square in offering a world class digital experience.
