Doing Much More Digitally

Mass customisation, direct-to-consumer sales models, drastically reduced delivery times, sustainable production and the strong influence of social media on buying decisions are all contributing to the continued rise of digital printing.
In conventional screen printing, each adjustment to a design requires a new rotary screen which slows down lead times. Digital designs, by contrast, can be generated instantly and adjusted on the spot.

Continuous improvements to digital printing systems by major ITMA exhibitors are resulting in an explosion of nimble new brands that operate close to their markets, which enable them to react instantly to demands, produce only what is ordered and generate virtually no waste.
