CeBIT in Hanover is not only the world's largest hub for trends and innovations in the world of IT, but also the industry's most important marketplace for IT specialists looking for work or willing to try something new.
From 10th - 14th March, Hall 9 at CeBIT is the place to be for experienced IT professionals looking for a change, wanting to start out in the ICT industry after a period of professional orientation, or looking to get a foot on the professional ladder after completing their education as IT professionals. job and career at CeBIT offers candidates an excellent opportunity to meet the right HR managers and decision-makers.
Employers from different industries
In addition to major players in the ICT industry such as Capgemini Deutschland, Deutsche Telekom, Microsoft Deutschland, Samsung Electronics and Telefónica Deutschland, well-known employers from other industries with interesting IT positions on offer will also be presenting themselves at the recruitment fair.
HR representatives from, amongst others, the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces), DB Mobility Logistics AG, E.ON Business Services GmbH, logistics company Hermes Logistik Gruppe Deutschland, Media-Saturn Holding GmbH, drugstore chain Rossmann and Volkswagen AG will be available to provide information and carry out initial interviews.
Integrated career forums complete the programme
The German Federal Employment Agency (BA) is also on board, acting as an important co-operation partner and providing extensive information and services. "On the BA stand, specialist advisers will be available on each day of the five-day CeBIT fair to provide information on questions related to the topics of looking for work, applying for jobs and training", explains Michael Köster, Head of Press and Marketing for the BA Regional Directorate of Lower Saxony-Bremen.
On the BA career stage, employers and job seekers can find out what's important when it comes to securing skilled labour and gaining qualifications. In addition, trade fair visitors can benefit from a colour and style consultation, and a job application portfolio check. On Wednesday 12th March, the BA is also organising an integrated recruitment fair over more than 500 square metres, located exclusively within the job and career area. Here, approximately 40 companies will be presenting their vacancies and will be available for discussions.
Exhibition and recruitment forum "COMPUTERWOCHE Jobs & Karriere" will also be in attendance. In addition to a top-class community stand, COMPUTERWOCHE will be offering CeBIT visitors an interesting programme of lectures and discussions on the subject of jobs and careers in IT.
Customised jobs portal on the CeBIT website
The recruiting event is offering customised support to IT professionals looking for a new challenge through its specially created online jobs portal on the CeBIT website. Job vacancies with all exhibiting companies, as well as other selected employers, are already on display at http://www.jobs.cebit.dejobs.cebit.de.
You can also enquire directly about vacancies listed on the jobs portal at the fair. A series of multimedia job walls, placed in the centre of the hall, will give visitors the chance to use tablet PCs to review all vacancies advertised on the portal. With just a few clicks, you can print job details, send them via email or download them directly to your phone using a QR code.
