CeBIT Global Conferences 2015 to feature star speakers from Huawei, NATO and Trend Micro

"Super-early-bird" price: 200 full-event conference tickets for €200 each

Preparations for the CeBIT Global Conferences 2015 are well underway. The event doesn't start for about another six months, but already the first of its star speakers have confirmed their availability. Among them are the head of Huawei Enterprise, Lida Yan, NATO's Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, Jamie Shea, and the CTO of Trend Micro, Raimund Genes.

Lida Yan is the CEO of Huawei Enterprise. In other words, he's a top-level manager at one of the biggest IT companies from this year's CeBIT Partner Country, China. Huawei, the world's leading provider of network technology, smartphones and IT solutions, is currently stepping up its activities in the markets of Europe. Here's what Lida Yan said on the subject of CeBIT 2015: "The latest trends in cloud, mobility, social media and big data are redefining enterprise IT systems and investment models. With Europe as our key strategic market, at CeBIT 2015, we will present customers and partners with innovative ICT solutions to respond to these trends."

Another major coup for the CeBIT Global Conferences 2015 is the speaker confirmation received from Dr. Jamie Shea, NATO's Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges. He is sure to have much of interest and relevance to say at the Conferences, given the growing importance of cyber defense in the wake of the current political unrest in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Indeed, at the recent NATO Summit in Wales, cyber attacks were added to the list of threats that would spark a collective response from the military alliance.

Cyber defense is also top of the agenda for Raimund Genes, Chief Technology Officer of Internet security company Trend Micro. Genes heads a worldwide team of cyber defense experts and software developers who are working on new technologies to guard the company's Smart Protection Network against malware emanating from a wide variety of sources.

200 "Super-early-bird" tickets

This offer is only available for a very limited time and closes on 31 October. After that and up until the end of November, the full-event ticket price increases to 400 euros. From December 2014 to the end of February 2015, the price increases again, to 600 euros, and from 1 March up until the start of the CeBIT Global Conferences, to 1,000 euros. Tickets to the CeBIT Global Conferences are also valid for admission to CeBIT.
