William Roam partners with American Forests

American-made hotel amenity company supports forestry protection and expansion.

William Roam, creators of American-made personal care products for the hospitality market, is committed to creating healthy forests by partnering with the oldest national nonprofit conservation organization; American Forests.

Fusing a nonprofit program and the hospitality sector, William Roam sought a partnership with American Forests, as the organization represented a clear directive aligned with their core business strategy. "We knew there had to be a way to provide American-made amenities in an ethical and sustainable manner, this organization helps fulfill our belief that things can be different." Says Ali Murphy, CEO of William Roam.

William Roam is responding to a call for change in the marketplace, where consumers demand societal, social or environmental performance. Simply selling good products is no longer enough, companies must give back. The partnership with American Forests guarantees the planting of one tree for every hotel room featuring William Roam's Sense Collection, which could see the planting of over 250,000 trees if just 5% of hotel rooms in the US participated.

Lea Sloan, Vice President of Communications at American Forests says, "When William Roam reached out to us, looking to plant trees in support of their Sense Collection, we were impressed with their innovative concept. There is potential for tremendous positive environmental impact if the hospitality sector steps forward to support these efforts."
