Sustainable Building Trend - Hong Kong Green Building Council Holds "BEAM Plus Platinum Project Certification Ceremony"

Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) held the "BEAM Plus Platinum Project Certification Ceremony" on December 12 at Ovolo Southside Hotel. The organiser was very honoured to have Mr. Vincent LIU Ming-Kwong, JP, Deputy Secretary for the Environment, to officiate at the ceremony. Ir Conrad WONG Tin-cheung, BBS, JP, Chairman of Hong Kong Green Building Council, Prof. John NG Cheuk-yee, Director of Hong Kong Green Building Council and Chairman of its Green Labelling Committee, as well as representatives from the project teams of the Platinum projects also attended the ceremony.

Local Brands Identified as 47 Most Sustainable Food Companies in the U.S.

HowGood, an independent research organization with the world's largest database of food ratings based on sustainability, identified the nation's 47 most sustainable food brands for 2015. The "Great Food Report" was published today in collaboration with SPINS and Pure Branding, two leading providers of research and insight in the natural products industry. The report is based on the largest dataset of its kind and brings together seven years of research, 110,000 rated products, and over 7 million data points.

HP Indigo receives UTL-Intertek CTL: Customer Testing Laboratory certification

Indigo's safety and regulatory department received SAT level 3 certification as a UTL-Intertek CTL: Customer Testing Laboratory. The ETL-Intertek Satellite programs allows HP Indigo to qualify products for many safety regulations in-house instead of with third-party auditors. The CTL certifications covers most of the product safety testing of HP Indigo presses including dielectric safety, thermal and current input testing.
