The full form of CIN is Corporate Identity Number. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has brought into force Section 12(3)(c) of Companies Act, 2013, with effect from 01.04.2014. Under this section, every company is required to get its name, its registered office address and the CIN included in all business letters, invoices, and in all its notices and other official publications.
PrintStop, a printing services company is offering a flat 20% off on all print orders of letterheads and carbonless invoice books.
It is also offering a 20% off on self-inking stamps of CIN number which can be used to make existing stationery compliant. This offer is available both online and at all the 5 retail locations in Mumbai until 31st May 2014.
According to Section 12(3)(c), a company that defaults in complying with this section's requirements shall be (and also each officer who is in default) liable to a penalty of INR 1,000 for every day during which the default continues, but not exceeding INR 1,000,000.
