adphos expands its activities in the digital print market

We are pleased to announce that since the start of this year Frank de Jonge has joined adphos to head the digital print segment within the company. Customers, partners and prospects now have an additional contact person within the adphos group.

In the 1990s Frank de Jonge developed his passion for digital print during his role as product manager in AEG Olympia’s headquarter in Germany. Following this he has held positions in Account Management and Business Development at Mitsubishi, Hitachi and Toshiba’s digital print divisions. Since 2006 he significantly contributed to Sensient’s European success in industrial digital print with sustainable, water-based inks for textiles and décor-print.
In his function as Business Development Director at Armor Industrial Inks Lab Frank guided the Desktop-Inkjet-specialists of Armor towards the industrial digital print world. De Jonge: “I was always driven to explore new applications in the digital print market to enable environmental protection, preservation of limited resources and reduction of the cost of print with sustainable, water-based inks. adphos’ patented aNIR-technology (advanced Near Infra Red) supports the energy-efficient evolution of the high-speed-print-production-market whilst significantly reducing CO2-emissions in the drying and curing process – the ideal technology to further develop the digital industrial print market.”
adphos is the leading industry specialist for thermal processing and recognised worldwide as supplier of high-performance heating-, drying- and cross-linking equipment for 25 years. The innovative aNIR-technology enables optimised instantaneous drying in inkjet applications, functional coatings and printed electronic and has proven its performance in more than 2,000 production systems in a variety of applications worldwide.

“Frank de Jonge is an experienced personality with a proven track record in the digital print industry “, says Dr. Kai K. O. Bär, Managing Director / President of the adphos group. “As a leading provider of thermal processing equipment it is adphos‘ intention to strengthen the contact to existing customers and partners and spread the advantages of the aNIR-technology to a wider range of customers and applications.“
