Coveris, a global leader in packaging and coatings solutions, today announced the appointment of Kathleen McJohn as General Council. In this position, McJohn will serve as the senior legal advisor of the corporation.
As the head of our legal organization, Kathleen will work closely with our current legal representatives, business units, and executive team members to build a legal department closely aligned with our corporate strategy and objectives.

Kathleen brings over 20 years of private practice and global corporate experience to Coveris, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at WMS Industries in Waukegan, IL. While at WMS, Kathleen had a progressive 10 year career and served as a key member of the executive team which transformed the business from net losses to one of the fastest growth companies on NYSE.
Prior to WMS, Kathleen was employed with Sears, Roebuck and Co., Amoco Corporation and Latham Watkins. Kathleen received a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, a Masters in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude from University of Illinois
