At today's session, the Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA General Meeting newly elected Murat Cetin (36) to the company's Supervisory Board. Cetin is Chairman of the Works Council at Arvato Direct Services Dortmund GmbH and also chairs a General Works Council at Arvato Services. He succeeds Horst Keil (former Chairman of the Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA Corporate Works Council), who left the Board in May 2014, as employee representative on the Supervisory Board of Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA. The Supervisory Board therefore has five employee representatives again as before.
Christoph Mohn, Chairman of the Bertelsmann Supervisory Board, said: "In Murat Cetin, our Supervisory Board gains a colleague who has worked at one of our largest sites in Germany for 14 years – 13 of them as a member of the works council. Murat Cetin has worked for Arvato in Dortmund since 2000. Prior to his exemption as a works councilman in 2006, he worked as a service center agent, most recently as group manager.
The Bertelsmann Verwaltungsgesellschaft (Bertelsmann Management Company, BVG) controls 100 percent of the voting rights in the Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA Annual General Meeting.
