The machine manufacturer makes its debut in Australia with the installation.
Australia-based label and flexible packaging manufacturer, Ultra Labels, has installed a Nilpeter FA-26. The sale of the first 26”-wide flexo press to the Australian market marked a milestone for Nilpeter, setting the stage for similar trends across the broader APAC region.
This collaboration was also important for Maxteq, Nilpeter’s authorized agency in Australia and New Zealand.
Over the past few years, Ultra Labels and Nilpeter have collaborated closely on a new project, which culminated in the final demonstration of Nilpeter’s mid-web flagship, the FA-26.
Ultra Labels’ CEO, Scott Springett and production manager, Johnny Marusic, travelled to Nilpeter Denmark to seal the deal.
Established in 2009, Ultra Labels has operations in Brisbane, Sydney and the Barossa Valley. Its facilities boast various art printing technologies and an experienced team that delivers in tight turnaround times.
Ultra Labels is committed to environmental sustainability, aligning with Australia’s National Packaging Targets for 2025 — a goal, that the new Nilpeter FA-26, featuring UV LED-curing technology, is ready to support.
Both Andrew Maxwell, managing director of Maxteq and Erik Blankenstein, sales director of Nilpeter Asia Pacific, expressed their excitement about launching this partnership.
