Phoseon will participate in discussions in the the latest developments in UV LED technology at RadTech’s 2020 UV+EB Technology Conference in Orlando, FL.
During the technical sessions, Rui Zhou, Technical Marketing Engineer, will present, Continuous wave (CW) and pulse width modulation (PWM) UV LED systems: technical characteristics, advantages and applications during the Track A: UV LED session at 3:30PM – 5:30PM on Monday, March 9.
“Continuous wave and pulse width modulation (PWM) are two methods for controlling the current in an UV LED light source, state Rui Zhou. “Continuous wave radiation system typically provides better curing results primarily due to its stable UV output, especially in applications that requires high speed. On the other hand, the PWM system can help reduce the substrate temperature, which is beneficial to the process on heat sensitive materials. This article discusses the differences between the two technologies, the advantages of each, and their respective applications.”
In addition to the technical presentation, Ruben Rivera from Phoseon will participate on the panel discussion featuring UVC LED Development. The panel will take place in the Exhibit Theater at 11:15AM – 12:00PM on Monday, March 9.
While attending the conference, visit Phoseon at booth 302 to learn how key strategic partnerships with the chemistry supply industry will ensure your curing solution is designed to meet your needs. RadTech UV+EB Technology Conference 2020 will take place March 8-11 at the Disney Coronado Springs in Orlando, Florida. The event is dedicated to the educational, technical and scientific advancement of ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB) technologies.
