Minebea Intec expands use of XMReality Remote Guidance

XMReality AB (publ) (NASDAQ First North: XMR) announces that Minebea Intec, a world leader in industrial weighing and inspection technologies, plans to extend XMReality Remote Guidance beyond the European market. During 2020, markets such as North and South America, India and Asia will also be able to access XMReality Remote Guidance to perform service tasks.

In 2019, Minebea Intec successfully launched the remote guidance service for its internal users, partners and end customers in Europe. Now Minebea Intec is expanding the use of XMReality Remote Guidance to North and South America, India and Asia. Minebea Intec has succeeded in offering its remote guidance services bundled under the brand name miRemote. This provides the company's end users all over the world with a uniform interface.
"We are convinced that we have taken important steps in the right direction with our miRemote service tool in order to be able to offer even more top performance in terms of service. In a nutshell, effectiveness and efficiency are prerequisites for a sustainable prevention strategy and are therefore an essential part of our corporate philosophy. Our tool miRemote provides our customers and us with decisive support in the qualified assessment of plant conditions. It enables us to take appropriate measures and ensure the reliable and immediate availability of the equipment," says Marco Crotta, Director Global Technical Services at Minebea Intec.
"We are very pleased with the ongoing implementation at Minebea Intec and also how well XMReality Remote Guidance fits into the miRemote offering. Thanks to our web client functionality, our customers can easily interact with all other customers who own a smartphone. This is certainly an important aspect for an accelerated global rollout. Minebea Intec is a very good example of how leading industries in the field of digitalization are able to offer their customers even more efficient service and maintenance," says Johan Castevall, CEO of XMReality.
