Minebea Intec strengthens management board with CFO Manina Kettler

Manina Kettler (40) has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Minebea Intec, a leading global manufacturer of industrial weighing and inspection technology, at the beginning of the year. She is now responsible for accounting, controlling, treasury, IT and administration.

Most recently, the management of these departments lay directly with Hidenori Shimosako, the CEO of Minebea Intec.
From controller to CFO in nine years: Manina Kettler is the best example of how Minebea Intec attaches great importance to employee development. In her new role, she will be in charge of budgeting, reporting, contracts, insurance, cash flow planning and IT strategy, among other things. Above all, Manina Kettler sees potential for Minebea Intec to become even more efficient in process optimisation and further digitalisation of the finance area. "We have already seen initial success with automated invoice and travel expense processing," says Manina Kettler. "One of our next projects in controlling will be to automate day-by-day reporting for our business partners."
Women power in the top management of Minebea Intec
Together with CEO Hidenori Shimosako, CSO Nick Parsons, COO Dr Karl Sommer and CTO Dr Axel Böttger, Manina Kettler will further expand Minebea Intec's business. "In her new position, she enriches the company with her great professional skills and remarkable commitment," says CEO Hidenori Shimosako. "I am convinced that Minebea Intec will become even stronger because of her."
Manina Kettler is the first woman to work in top management at Minebea Intec. A signal for more female empowerment, diversity and inclusion. "I can only advise every female colleague to believe in her own strengths," says Manina Kettler. "Those who prove themselves time and again and also specifically demand more responsibility will be successful at Minebea Intec."
The 40-year-old brings outstanding expertise in the field of finance. After completing her dual business studies at the Volkswagen Group, she went through various positions as a controller in the food and service industries before starting in controlling for Minebea Intec's Aachen site in 2013. In 2018, she then took on her first management position as Director Accounting at the headquarters in Hamburg, followed by Controlling in 2019. Since 2021, Manina Kettler has been Deputy CFO. "I am very much looking forward to the new task," says Manina Kettler. "I want to dovetail the individual departments even more and promote cooperation. For me, that is the key to success."
