Jive-powered employee communications solution builds on success with customer community
Jive Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: JIVE), today announced that Plex Systems, the leader in cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) for the manufacturing enterprise, has deployed Jive's modern communication and collaboration solutions to facilitate employee communications, increase engagement, and provide a company-wide collaborative work environment. Called "Cloud City," the recently launched employee collaboration hub is an extension of the company's successful 10,000-member customer community, which launched on the Jive-x solution in 2012.
Plex is the leader in cloud solutions for manufacturing, with more than 400 customers running over 1,300 manufacturing facilities across 20 countries. Plex's workforce is spread geographically, and the team needed an agile communications and collaboration solution to connect people and organizations. Just a few months after deployment, Cloud City is already improving strategic alignment and collaboration across the entire business, while providing a fun and easily accessible way for employees to share content.
The internal Jive deployment follows the successful 2012 launch of Plex's customer community, which provides an open collaboration platform for customer implementations, support, service and collaboration on new products.
