The embedded award ceremony in nine categories was a complete success. The rows in front of the stage in start-up City were filled to capacity and the atmosphere was characterised by eager anticipation and enthusiasm. When the winners of the prestigious award were announced, they were beaming with joy and pride. The embedded award recognises outstanding innovation and achievement in the embedded industry, and the happy faces of the winners reflect the importance and recognition associated with the award. embedded world Conference and electronic displays Conference
The top-class lecture programme of the two parallel conferences attracted 1,897 participants and speakers from 47 countries to the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg.
Prof Dr Axel Sikora, Chairman of the embedded world Conference, is delighted with the success of the conference, which comprised a total of 80 sessions and 20 classes on all relevant topics. “We saw many very well-filled rooms, interesting and topical presentations and intensive discussions,” he reports. A particular highlight of the conference was the keynote speech by Sandra Rivera, CEO of Altera, entitled “Pushing Boundaries: Flexible AI at the Edge”. The programme was complemented by six panel discussions on current issues such as the Cyber Resilience Act and software-defined vehicles. The panel discussion “C-Level @ embedded world” with the CTOs of Altera, STMicroelectronics and Texas Instruments was particularly noteworthy.
The high number of participants and international attendance emphasise the importance of the conference as a central meeting point for the embedded community.
Prof Dr Karlheinz Blankenbach, Chairman of the electronic displays Conference, also drew a positive conclusion: “The keynote sessions on the topics of ‘Markets & Trends’ and ‘Advanced Displays’ were met with great interest by the participants. I am pleased to report that the rooms were full, the audience was attentive, the questions were interesting and the display community was passionate and innovative.” The two-day conference programme comprised 8 keynotes and 65 lectures as well as 8 poster presentations.
