Atlas Material Testing Technology Exhibits at Intersolar NA 2014

Atlas Material Testing Technology, the industry leader in solar durability testing, will exhibit at Intersolar North America 2014 (Booth#7726), the premier North American solar conference and exhibition, July 8-10 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.

As an active participant in global standards committees and industry consortiums on photovoltaic (PV) durability, Atlas has extensive knowledge and experience in providing customized weathering and environmental testing products, services and programs and in hosting educational events for companies involved in PV-related industries.

Visitors to the Atlas booth will learn about the latest requirements and trends in PV module, materials and systems durability testing, have the opportunity to speak with industry experts and be able to discuss the various weathering solutions Atlas offers, including:

Atlas 25+®
Atlas 25+ is a proprietary, multi-dimensional durability test program designed to subject PV modules to the environmental degradation stresses that can be expected during long-term service. The test program provides a crucial missing component to the IEC-type design qualification tests.

Solar Technology by Atlas®
Atlas offers integrated, ready-to-use test chambers for various solar and environmental applications. Solar Technology by Atlas combines Atlas' extensive experience in environmental simulation with metal halide lighting technology. Users can determine whether or not a product will hold up to warranty claims. If an application is photovoltaic related or involves 3D automotive, plastics components or electronics products, Atlas' wide array of solar environmental chambers are designed to meet such industry standards as IEC 61215 and IEC 61646 or DIN 75 220, just to name a few.

Ci Series Weather-Ometer®
The Ci Series Weather-Ometer is the global standard for PV materials accelerated weather durability testing of encapsulants, backsheets, polymeric frontsheets, coatings and polymeric balance-of-systems components. The Weather-Ometer is ideal for conforming to current and developing PV materials standards and in meeting requirements for both research and durability evaluations.

SUNTEST®XXL/XXL+
The SUNTEST XXL/XXL+ is Atlas' largest flatbed xenon instrument. Its 3081 cm2 specimen tray is perfect for testing three dimensional parts and large components such as crystalline and thin-film mini modules. It meets or exceeds all primary internationally recognized weathering standards.
