Selective Prints are ready to launch a brand new departure in the world of Limited Editions which is set to create a brand new market niche.
This will now provide a major opportunity for the trade to compete with the current trend towards low cost originals.
Working with acclaimed artist Margaret Hughlock, Selective Prints are launching "Artist Individuated Editions"(TM) - with every copy individually hand embellished and finished by the artist so that every single copy is not just a slight variant on a print, but truly unique.
Artists have often remarqued or hand painted details on an existing print but this is the first time that editions have been produced where any two copies within the edition will, set side by side, show so little similarity.
To increase their saleability still further, each edition will be limited to 30 copies only.
This is a brand new departure for Selective Prints, and to stimulate interest Artist Individuated Editions will be made available to the trade at prices that will allow galleries to market these unique works of art at RRPs of approximately GBP200.
Commenting on the launch for Selective Prints, Andrew Whyte said "The objective is to create a brand new market for Artist Individuated Editions and help to stimulate trade for our customers. Andrew also said that "the end-user would have access to a one off piece for little more than the cost of a standard print and the galleries will be able to offer affordable, yet unique, contemporary artworks."
"Margarets background in interior design means that her work is always on trend with the current interior colour schemes at the time the edition is launched, so her colour ways are always of the moment".
Every image will be numbered within Margarets painted signature block.
As every Artist Individuated Edition is unique, Selective Prints will send out emails to galleries with a batch of available images which will be offered on a first come, first served, basis.
