Global Capacity, the leading network connectivity company, announces that Vice President of Product and Marketing Mary Stanhope will be speaking at Ethernet World 2014, co-located with SDN & NFV Summit 2014, to be held September 16-17 in Nice, France. Ethernet World is the largest international conference and exhibition focused on enabling cloud and data services with Ethernet.
Ms. Stanhope will join Thane Storck, Group Vice President, Carrier Services at Time Warner Cable Business Class, and Jamy Rousseau, Ethernet Product Manager at SFR, on the panel entitled What Is the Value of CE 2.0 in Today's Market? Is There a Market Need for Multiple Classes of Service?, taking place Wednesday, September 17, 2014. The segment will provide attendees with insight into the business value of MEF CE 2.0 as well as standardization for mid-market, enterprise/business and cloud brokerage customers with complex networking needs.
As an active member of the MEF, Global Capacity's commitment to efficient and cost-effective Ethernet solutions is tightly aligned with MEF standards, created to define, streamline and standardize processes for buying, selling, delivering, and operating Ethernet services.
Later that day, Ms. Stanhope will give a presentation entitled Expanding the Addressable Market beyond the On-Net Footprint via Interconnection. Ms. Stanhope will discuss how globalization, regulatory changes and increasing competition are driving today's network operators to expand services beyond their footprint, while simultaneously reducing costs and operating more efficiently. She will identify the value of Enhanced Network-to-Network Interconnections (ENNIs) in expanding the reach of network services while allowing for spare capacity to be identified, aggregated and actively marketed from these interconnection points. Lastly, Ms. Stanhope will share how a network marketplace can simplify connectivity and reduce time to market.
Global Capacity's One Marketplace eliminates the complexity and inefficiency of the network market by combining an interconnected, aggregated network with a Cloud application that simplifies the procurement of network solutions.
