Brother Makes Additional Donation for Ukraine Crisis and UN Refugee Relief Efforts

Brother Industries, Ltd. (President: Ichiro Sasaki) today announced that it will donate an additional 10 million JPY in humanitarian aid for the Ukraine crisis and 10 million JPY to support refugee assistance activities of the UNHCR, the UN refugee agency via Japan for UNHCR, for a total of 20 million JPY.

The donation will be given through the UNHCR to support relief efforts in Ukraine as well as the UN's protection and assistance measures for refugees.

Brother as a group donated 500,000 EUR in March 2022 and 20 million JPY in March 2023 to the UNHCR for humanitarian assistance in Ukraine and has now decided to provide additional support in response to the prolonged crisis in Ukraine. In light of the current global situation where the number of people forced to flee their homes due to conflict and persecution is increasing every year, Brother will also donate to refugee assistance efforts.

Brother hopes that the people of Ukraine can soon live in safety and return to their normal lives and that peace will be restored to the world.
