Husky names Gary Strickland Vice President of Human Resources

Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced the appointment of Gary Strickland to the position of Vice President, Human Resources. Mr. Strickland will join Husky's executive team and will lead the global human resources organization.

"Gary brings extensive leadership experience to Husky, including numerous accomplishments related to translating objectives of companies into actionable plans, and developing human resource strategies that are aligned with business directions," said John Galt, Husky's President and CEO. "I am looking forward to working with him, and seeing the valuable contributions he will make to our long-term growth strategy."

"Husky is a growing, global company that is well-known for its outstanding human resources organization. I look forward to being part of the team and having the opportunity to contribute to Husky's continued development as an industry leader."

Prior to joining Husky, Mr. Strickland was most recently Chief Administrative Officer of Transfreight LLC., a premier third-party logistics provider. He has also served as Vice President Global Human Resources of EMCON Technologies and as Vice President Human Resources at ArvinMeritor. Mr. Strickland holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and a Masters Degree in Administration and Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix in Arizona.

Mr. Strickland will be officially joining Husky on October 27, 2014, replacing the current interim Vice President, Peter Neufeld. Mr. Neufeld will continue at Husky leading Human Resources for the global Hot Runners and Controllers business
