Michael Kakoyiannis, President & CEO of Metromedia Technologies (MMT), announced today the appointment of Dan J. Parkin as the company's new Director of its Signage Branding Group (SBG) based in its Chicago office. " Dan's extensive experience in the signage and project management arena will allow MMT to expand brand partnerships through the design, development and placement of exceptional out-of-home concepts" noted Mr. Kakoyiannis.
Dan added: "In joining MMT as Director of SBG, I felt that there is such amazing potential to develop a real business in this space, especially given MMT's portfolio of fine products and services that are a cut above the rest. Dan began his career at Enterprise Rent-a-Car in 1999, quickly driving branch profit, sales and customer satisfaction ratings to the highest levels ever attained. In 2001, he was hired as a project manager by Madden Communications to coordinate installations for major retailers throughout the country and in this role, implemented new policies and procedures to streamline communication and reporting.
For the past ten years, Dan has served as Senior Account Manager for Icon Identity Solutions, implementing and managing all aspects of a brand's identity across a variety of platforms. In this role, Dan monitored risk management, developed forecasts and worked with a cross functional team to prepare proposals and educate customers on projects and outcomes.
Dan received a degree in Speech Communications from Illinois State University and enjoys running half marathons and spending time with his family.
