The Reader's Digest Association, Inc., the iconic multi-media publishing company, today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Bonnie Kintzer CEO, effective April 7. Ms. Kintzer, a seasoned media industry visionary and strategist, was previously CEO, Women's Marketing Inc., the leader in media strategy, planning and buying for emerging and re-emerging brands targeting women. Mr. Guth will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Ms. Kintzer brings more than 20 years of media industry experience focused on growing and building organizations and brands. Her diverse experience includes a significant tenure at RDA where she previously held the roles of President, U.S. Publishing and Vice President, Global Strategy & Business Redesign.

Ms. Kintzer has led a storied career in publishing and digital media. Prior to joining Women's Marketing, Inc. in 2010, Ms. Kintzer was President of Kintzer, Bachar & Associates, a strategic management consultancy specializing in media, she founded in 2007. During her nearly 9 year tenure at Reader's Digest Association, Ms. Kintzer held a number of senior executive positions and was responsible for a number of the Company's largest publishing and digital properties including Reader's Digest, Taste of Home, Birds & Blooms, The Family Handyman, RD.com and Allrecipes.com. In addition, Ms. Kintzer oversaw the hugely successful launch of Every Day with Rachael Ray. Ms. Kintzer holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a member of the boards of directors of F+W Media and Women's Marketing Inc., as well as an advisor to the mobile start-up PaeDae.
