ColorLogic’s sustainable practices meet United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
PRINTING United Alliance today announced ColorLogic GmbH as a recipient of the 2021 Sustainable Business Recognition Award. This award honors business operations that focus primarily on daily decisions that reduce a company’s environmental footprint, improve employee safety and well-being, all the while optimizing the bottom line.
PRINTING United Alliance’s Sustainable Business Recognition Program is based on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These goals are a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. This year’s focus goals were primarily the following SDGs: Good Health and Well-Being, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Responsible Consumption and Production. Judging for the Sustainable Business Recognition Award was conducted by the PRINTING United Alliance’s Advisory Council on Sustainability, Safety, Health and Personnel.
“It is an honor to be recognized for something we work at every day.” Barbara Braun-Metz, CEO of ColorLogic states. "Sustainability is a fundamental part of everything we do. It shows in our dedication to improving color management to reduce the amount of waste. As innovators in the printing industry, it is our responsibility to not only our customers but our world.
