Baltan Laboratories (an Eindhoven-based organization that promotes art-technology interactions) announces its partnerships with Holst Centre and Van Abbemuseum (renowned museum for contemporary art).
Within this partnership, Holst Centre and Van Abbemuseum will harbor part of their activities on the crossroads of disciplines such as art and technology at Baltan. It's a next milestone in the realization of "The Lab of the Future" in Eindhoven. The mission: "To bring together people and organizations to initiate and promote free experiment at the crossroads of disciplines such as art and technology with the conviction that this will evoke totally new ideas for - and insights in - products, services, knowledge and society." The recently launched Open Labs initiative of Baltan is one example of how the organization is transforming its activities towards this mission. Over the coming weeks and months, Baltan plans more announcements about new activities and structural partnerships.
