Lode Vlayen joins Dataline

Dataline, market leader in ERP/MIS solutions for graphic production companies, announces that Lode Vlayen will be joining the company as of July 2019.

At Dataline, Lode Vlayen will spearhead the continued growth of MultiPress, Dataline’s MIS/ERP software, in the ‘Commercial Offset and Digital Printing’ division in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Lode Vlayen is a familiar face in the sector, bringing with him over 35 years of international experience in the graphics industry. Before becoming Managing Director of VIGC (2014–2019), the Flemish Innovation Centre for Graphic Communication, he spent 5 years as R&D Manager and Director Benelux at Hiflex MIS Software. His extensive management and operational experience also came in handy at KBA Complete (Managing Director), Creo (Product Marketing Manager), Scitex (Technical Sales Support), Drukkerij Ro – Continental Printing (Vice General Manager) and Screen (Customer and Production Manager).

Dirk Deroo, CEO of Dataline, warmly welcomes Lode Vlayen: “MultiPress MIS/ERP software is gaining significant international market share, especially in the signage and large-format printing sector. And market research has revealed the extensive potential in commercial printing as well for our solution. With his extensive knowledge of and experience with workflow automation, ERP/MIS implementations, JDF automation, production and project management, we’re confident Lode is the ideal person to help us unlock this potential in the DACH region.”
