Carl von Schantz to start position as President of Tube division at Alleima on October 1, 2023

As previously announced, Alleima has appointed Carl von Schantz as President of Tube division, and member of the Group Executive Management team. It has now been decided that he will start his position on October 1, 2023.

Carl von Schantz was born in 1973 and most recently came from Atlas Copco, where he held the position as President of the General Industry Tools and Assembly Systems division for the past five years. Carl von Schantz succeeds Michael Andersson, who left Alleima in June 2023.
"I am very pleased that Carl von Schantz will take up his position as President of Tube division and member of the Group Executive Management team at Alleima. He has demonstrated good leadership in previous roles and a strong ability to drive growth," says Göran Björkman, President and CEO of Alleima.
”I am honored to lead the Tube division and become part of Alleima with its rich heritage and extensive materials expertise. The Tube division is the largest division within Alleima with strong market positions in diversified customer segments, a strategy for profitable growth and becoming part of the green energy transition. I look forward to leading this journey," says Carl von Schantz.
An earlier press release announced November 17 as the latest starting date for Carl von Schantz. As he takes office on October 1, Nigel Haworth, who was acting President of Tube division, will return to his role as President of business unit Energy.
