As one of Sweden's oldest paper manufacturers, Lessebo Paper strives to supply the international market with high-performance, environmentally sustainable paper and board. With two new launches in 2022, Lessebo Paper is currently also gaining market share in the luxury packaging segment.
The machines at Lessebo Paper are running at full speed and the mill is growing in the luxury packaging segment. &bdquoWe are seeing increased interest in our paper, especially for applications where quality and environmental sustainability are paramount," says Jens Olson, CEO of Lessebo Paper.
Earlier this year, Lessebo Paper introduced the new concept Lessebo Texture£, a unique service where the customer can choose a surface pattern that is then embossed on the sheet. In November, Lessebo Paper takes the next big step towards the luxury packaging market. The company is launching a new grade that will drive the future of sustainable luxury packaging. The new paper range includes a very special colour palette.
To this end, Lessebo Paper was recently accepted as a member of Paper Profile. As part of the membership, the company has now introduced environmental product declarations for all its grades. &bdquoMembership of the Paper Profile is a way for Lessebo Paper to show our commitment to reducing our environmental impact," Olson describes. &bdquoWe have long had a strong environmental focus, which has intensified in recent years to the point where we are now one of the most environmentally friendly paper mills in the world.
